Oz Park Tree Lighting Rescheduled
The event has been bumped from Saturday to Sunday.
CHICAGO — The Oz Park Advisory Council and Lincoln Central Association will host the official holiday tree lighting ceremony this year in Oz Park on Sunday, Dec. 2. The two organizations partnered to create the first-ever lighting ceremony last year, which hundreds of people attended.
The ceremony will begin at 5 p.m., and feature carolers from Lincoln Park High School.
The designated holiday tree is just south of the intersection of Lincoln Avenue, Webster and Larrabee Streets.

The Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce and Lincoln Central Association will host a pre-lighting event at 3 p.m. at the Tin Man at the Northeast corner of Oz Park. People are invited to pose for photos with Santa Claus, listen to carolers from the Old Town School of Music and participate in family-friendly activities.
The tree will remain lit until the first week of January 2019.
