Upscale Restaurant Opens in Eataly

Baffo opened last week — and is the final addition to the now-complete Eataly.

Need yet another reason to head to Eataly? Then good news — a new upscale restaurant has opened in the 63,000-square-foot Italian food superstore

Baffo, which means "mustache" in Italian, opened last week. The restaurant features seasonal antipasti, homemade pastas and plenty of desserts. There's also an extensive wine list and full bar available.

The restaurant only has one review on Yelp, but it's a raving one. Yelp user john t. gave the restaurant five stars.

"The entire experience was delightful from service to food to ambience," john t. wrote on Yelp. "While the place was full it was conversation friendly."

Highlights from the menu include Capesante Crude ("raw nantucket bay scallops with ruby red grapefruit and chile), Fettuccine Nere ("squid ink fettucini with lobster and spicy calabrese salami) and Pere E Noci ("walnut spongecake, salted caramel mousse and pear gelee"). There's also a tasting menu available.
