Police Investigating Uptown Shooting

CHICAGO — Police are continuing their investigation into a shooting in Uptown that left two men injured. The men were shot Tuesday evening in the 1000 block of West Argyle Street, police said.

The men were standing on the sidewalk at about 8:14 p.m., when a gunman fired shots, according to police. A 27-year-old man was shot multiple times and taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in critical condition. A 23-year-old man was shot in the jaw and taken to Illinois Masonic hospital in stable condition.

Area North detectives are continuing thei search for suspects. No one was in custody.
