Apple To Host Education Event At North Side High School: Report
Apple is coming to Lane Tech College Prep High School in North Center, according to MacRumors.
CHICAGO, IL — Apple has invited the media to an event on March 27 at Lane Tech College Prep High School on the city's North Side, MacRumors reported. The site quoted a tweet from Bloomberg tech reporter Mark Gurman, which said the event will focus on "creative new ideas for teachers and students." Several tech media websites speculated that new Apple products could be unveiled at the event.
The sites also speculated that the event could be similar to Apple's last education-themed event in New York in 2012, in which the company unveiled its iBooks 2 platform.
