Big Boy Gyros at 3541 North Western, across from Lane Tech, is under fire for an alleged harassment that occurred when two male students hugged each other inside the restaurant.
Per the Instagram account, lane_confessions, it states ""My two friends are guys and they're dating. Only minutes ago they gave eachother an innocent hug and were instantly harassed by the cashier. "Hey, Hey, no hugging in here." He yelled. "Two guys shouldn't be doing that. If it was a guy and a girl it would be fine but not two guys." We were all collectively shaken and decided to leave. As we left the guy shouted at us "get out of here, we don't want your kind anyway.""
The uproar has led students/parents/former customers to resort to Yelp to express their displeasure.
