Business Burglaries Reported In Andersonville, Edgewater
Burglars have been breaking into North Side businesses by prying open doors or climbing through unlocked windows, police warned.

CHICAGO — Business burglaries have been reported in the Edgewater and Andersonville neighborhoods over the past few weeks, police said in a community alert Thursday. The burglaries occurred between Nov. 22 and Dec. 10, police said.
The burglars either pry open a rear door or break-in through an unlocked window, according to the alert.

- in the 5300 block of N. Ashland Ave. between Nov. 22-24, between 7 p.m. – 7:40 a.m.
- in the 1500 block of W. Balmoral Ave. on Dec. 2 at 4:45 a.m.
- in the 500 block of W. Berwyn Ave. on Dec.2 at 5:30 a.m.
- in the 5300 block of N. Clark St. on Dec. 10 at 6:36 a.m.
