Chicago Campfire Fest In Chase Park: Schedule, Activities
The Ravenswood event will include a marshmallow roast, fire performers, a circus show, a haunted house and a pumpkin patch.

CHICAGO — Those looking to improve their marshmallow roasting skills are invited to the Chicago Campfire Fest in Chase Park in mid-October. People of all ages are invited outside to gather around some cozy fall campfires, listen to "professional" ghost stories and watch a range of performances.
The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 13 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the park at 4701 N. Ashland (between Leland and Lawrence).
The "bring your own blanket and cooler" festival will include fire performers, a pumpkin patch, a haunted house, movies, food, live kids music, arts and crafts and a circus show.

Tickets are $10 online or $12 in person (kids 2 & under are free). Tickets include:
- marshmallows, s'more kit + roasting stick
- entry to the pumpkin patch (pumpkins available for purchase)
- professional face painting from 4-6 p.m.
- live children's performances
- entry to the "not-so-scary" haunted house from 5-6:30 p.m.
- arts and crafts for kids
- lawn games
- professional storytellers around the campfire
- entry to the 7 p.m. Circus Show featuring Cirque Experience
- fire performances, inflatables

4 p.m. - dance games with "Design Dance"
- face painting with Ms. Lady Trish (until 6 p.m.)

5 p.m. - entry to "not-so-scary" haunted house (ends at 6:30 p.m.)
- live kids music with Michaels Music Machine
6 p.m. - kids Halloween short movies on a big screen
- live fire dancing and performances
- live music with Thom Perry throughout the evening
6:30 p.m. - "not-so-scary" stories 'round the group campfire.
7 p.m. - live circus show with Cirque Experience in the gym featuring world champion artists
- haunted house opens. Enter The Park After Dare if you dare* (*tickets sold separately)
7:30 p.m. - professional ghost stories 'round the group campfire.
- Halloween movie on the big screen
9 p.m. - campfires
