Convicted Felon Charged With 2 North Side Armed Robberies
An Andersonville man was taken into custody Thursday, police said.

CHICAGO — A convicted felon has been charged with two North Side armed robberies, police said. Stanley Krzak, 26, was taken into custody Thursday, according to police.
Police said Krzak walked into a restaurant in the 5300 block of North Broadway on Nov. 26 around 9 p.m. and announced a robbery. He then fled with an undetermined amount of cash, police said.
The second robbery occurred in a convenience store in the 1000 block of Bryn Mawr at around 12 a.m. Thursday, police said. Krzak threatened a clerk with a handgun and fled with cash, according to police.

Krzak, of the Andersonville neighborhood, has been charged with two felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm, police said. He was scheduled to appear in bond court Saturday.
