Fire Sends Three to the Hospital, Cause Still Unknown
Flames began in a three-story apartment building near the Montrose Brown Line station.

Officials are still investigating the cause of a fire that sent three people to the hospital Sunday night.
The Chicago Fire Department responded to the blaze at 10:53 p.m. in the 4400 block of N. Wolcott, near Montrose Avenue.
Two firefighters were transported to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, while another victim was taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital. Everyone was listed in fair-to-serious condition.

Officials categorized the fire as a still and box alarm, typically used when someone is trapped a building, multiple structures are on a fire or a large building has collapsed or is on fire.
