Hit-And-Run Crash Kills Man in Ravenswood, Police Say
Officials believe the man—pronounced dead on the scene—was homeless.

A homeless man is dead after a hit-and-run accident in Ravenswood, police said.
Around 4:50 a.m., a witness saw the unresponsive man lying in the street on the 2100 block of West Wilson Avenue. When paramedics arrived on the scene, he was pronounced dead, according to a Chicago Police Department News Affairs spokesperson.
Sunday, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as James Andrew Truslow.

Autopsy results showed he had died of multiple injuries consistent with being struck by a car.

Truslow was in his 30s and believed to be homeless, according to the medical examiner's office.
As of 9 p.m. Sunday, police did not have a suspect in custody or a description of the car. The Chicago Police Major Accident Investigation Unit is reviewing the case.
