Lincoln Square Man Charged With Sex Assault
The man is accused of repeatedly assaulting his girlfriend's young daughter.

CHICAGO — A Lincoln Square man was arrested Wednesday in West Rogers Park on sexual assault charges, police said. The man is accused of assaulting his girlfriend's 14-year-old daughter.
Cook County prosecutors said Jose Landa, 29, sexually assaulted the girl many times starting when she was 12, the Sun-Times reported.
Prosecutors said Landa also told her to send him nude photos of herself, according to the report.

Landa, of the 4900 block of North Bell, faces felony charges of aggravated criminal sexual assault causing bodily harm, predatory criminal sexual assault and possession of child pornography.
Landa has five children and works in construction, the Sun-Times reported.

He was denied bail at a Saturday hearing, and was scheduled to appear back in court Tuesday.
