Local Business Owner Offers Unrivaled Service

Limo Angel gives its clients rides not only in Illinois, but also in other cities across the nation.

Business travelers regularly land and take off from airports in foreign cities. Since they don’t know the cities very well, sometimes it is a challenge to be sure that they are getting the best possible service. While this is something some business travelers see as a frustration, Sebastian Dragan-Dima saw it as a business opportunity.

“I’ve been giving, providing car service for all my clients outside of my Chicago area,” he said. “I do this through affiliates.

“I give them business and it’s starting to trickle.”

Dragan-Dima owns Limo Angel. He said it works like this. He has a regular client who uses his service here in the Chicago area. They are going to fly to New York on business. Not only will they use the Limo Angel service in Chicago, but when they land in New York, they will have transportation waiting for them - transportation that has been vetted by Dragan-Dima and which will give him back business as well.

“I’m more of the giver's gain philosophy of giving back.” he said. “They help me first (by) establishing the network of affiliates and eventually when they need service in the Chicago area.”

Not only does it help his business, but it helps him to serve his clients as well.

“A lot of my clients are assistants to different business executives,” he said. “For them, it is a lot of work for them to find this for their clients.”

Dragan-Dima has contracts with individuals and organizations, including one of his largest accounts with the Jewish Federation.

"They have a lot of speakers coming in for different events," he said. "How they raise money is by having different types of guest speakers coming in."

As such, sometimes Dragan-Dima has driven dignitaries or famous actors or actresses. He remembers once driving a dignitary who came with his own police escort.

When he tells the story, he recalls he made it from the Intercontinental in Chicago to O'Hare at 5 p.m. on a Friday and the trip took only 30 minutes.

The list of recognizable people he has driven includes Colin Powell, Michael Douglas and Former Prime Minister of Israel Ehud Barak.

Dragan-Dima began his business back in 2004.

“I wanted to form a company that was going to be...something that would honor my mother,” he said.

Dragan-Dima’s mother passed away from cancer 26 years ago.

“I just found it very appropriate that I should name it Limo Angel,” he said recalling his fond memories. “(It) makes me (smile) every day - be aware that there is something greater behind the company.”

Dragan-Dima is the owner, founder and president of the company.

“It is a car service and limousine service,” he explained. “We provide limousine service and car service that is mainly for corporate people."

“Most of the stuff that we do is transportation to and from the airport.”

To that end, Dragan-Dima just opened a storefront near O’Hare to better serve his clients.
The move out of a home office and into a brick and mortar location gives the company more professional accessibility. And just a chunk of weeks after the move, Dragan-Dima's business boasts four dipatchers and five cars with drivers.

Even with his staff expansion, Dragan-Dima still drives his own clients and plans to continue to do so.

In addition to providing transportation for his clients on departure and arrival, Dragan-Dima said Limo Angel provides its clients with service that goes above and beyond.

“What makes us different (is) the fact that we pay attention to the details and listen to client’s needs,” he said. “We have some of the clients that come late at night - we know them - one of the clients does not have time to stop and get something to eat - we know what kind of sandwich he likes. we pick it up for him before we get to the airport.”
