LSL Health Care Plans to Leave Andersonville for Niles
Chicago-based medical manufacturer plans to relocate to north suburbs.
CHICAGO, IL - LSL Health Care, a Chicago-based medical manufacturing company that produces hospital admission kits with items like pitchers, bedpans and hospital slippers, plans to move from the city’s North Side to north suburban Niles. It's current location is at 5535 N. Wolcott Ave. in the city's Andersonville neighborhood.
The move will bring about 120 jobs to Niles, according to a report from the Journal & Topics. The company says it has outgrown its space in Andersonville.
Trustees in the north suburb are expected to approve a request from the company for a Class 6B Cook County property tax incentive this month. Plans include LSL bringing the 117 employees at their current location and add 10 to 20 new employees to their new headquarters at an existing building on Howard Street.
