Man Killed In Albany Park Drive-By Shooting

CHICAGO — A 41-year-old man was killed Thursday in the Albany Park neighborhood, police said. He was shot in the 4900 block of North Kedzie Avenue at about 12:24 a.m.

The man was standing in an alley when someone fired shots from inside a red van, police said.

The man suffered two gunshot wounds to his abdomen and was taken to St. Francis Hospital, where he later died. His identity has not been released.

A person of interest is being questioned, police said. The investigation was ongoing.
