Munno Pizzeria Opens In Ravenswood
The pizza restaurant took over this formerly-vacant spot across from Carol's Pub.
CHICAGO, IL — A new pizza restaurant has opened its doors on the border of Ravenswood and Uptown. Munno Pizzeria & Bistro at 4656 N. Clark Street has garnered excellent reviews so far on Yelp. The restaurant serves fresh homemade pasta, Napolitano-style pizza and homemade gelato.
Menu highlights include handmade ravioli in a saffron sage butter sauce and lasagna made with porcini mushroom ragu, béchamel and parmesan cheese. There are also four classic pizza options: margherita, verdure (tomato sauce, zucchini, mushrooms, roasted peppers and red onion), funghi (mushroom reduction, fresh mozzarella and truffle oil) and salsiccia (tomato sauce, pork sausage, fresh mozzarella, ricotta salata and Calabrian chilies).
Dessert options include butterscotch pudding with caramel whipped cream and mixed berry crostata with amaretto whipped cream.

Munno Pizzeria & Bistro is closed from Monday to Wednesday, and open from 5:30 to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Sunday.
