New Food at Fountainhead: Cleetus Friedman Named Chef

Cleetus Friedman is keeping his sustainable food vibe in Ravenswood. Along with being a finalist for the host of "Check, Please!" he'll be the new chef at Fountainhead.

Both announcements came within 48 hours of each other Wednesday and Thursday.

Friedman plans to bring his turkey sandwich to Fountainhead and expand the restaurant’s brunch menu, Time Out Chicago reported.

"I love brunch!" he told blogger David Tamarkin. "And they want brunch to take off. So I'm going to take my brunch here."

The rest of the menu is still up in the air, but the chef said his 1,700 Twitter followers will have a say in what's being served.
