New Potbelly Opens on Lincoln Avenue

The neighborhood's family atmosphere attracted the Chicago sandwich shop to its new location.

The newest Potbelly Sandwich Shop will open just two miles north of another location in Lincoln Square.

Tuesday marks the first day in business at 5962 N. Lincoln Ave.—that’s exactly 2.1 miles away from a Giddings Plaza location at 4709 N. Lincoln Ave.

Manager Tori Williams said she’s excited for the location because of its neighborhood feel.
