Oktoberfest In Lincoln Square: Parade Route, Events
The free celebration will include traditional dance and singing performances, carnival games and of course, pretzels and beer.

CHICAGO — Get ready to wash a giant pretzel down with some Deutchland beer — the German-American Oktoberfest will be held this weekend, Sept. 7-9, on Chicago's North Side. The free celebration will feature a parade that will start in the North Center neighborhood and end in Lincoln Square.
The street party will be held in Lincoln Square at 4700 N Lincoln (at Leland), with bands playing in two large tents throughout the weekend and an amusement area with carnival games. Food, beer and wine will be served in the tents.

- Friday – 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. (8 p.m. Opening Ceremony )
- Saturday – Noon to 11 p.m. (Entertainment to begin after parade)
- Sunday – Noon to 10 p.m. (11 a.m. German Mass Service; entertainment will begin at 2 p.m.)
Oktoberfest parade route:
The parade will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Lincoln Avenue and Irving Park Road in North Center, then follow up Lincoln to Eastwood, then west to Western and north to Lawrence:
