Police: 6 Armed Robberies Cause Community Alert (MAP)

Chicago's 19th Police District issued the alert looking for two men who they say rob residents at gunpoint. Each incident—including one in Ravenswood—happened just more than a week apart.

Chicago’s 19th District Police Station issued a community alert Thursday after six armed robberies in July, seemingly by the same two men.

The alert says in each incident, the men approach victims on the street or in alleys after dark, robbing them of their wallets, money and cell phones at gunpoint.

All six robberies happened in the late evening or early morning a little more than a week apart from each other.
