Police Release Image Of Suspect In Fatal NW Side Shooting

Police have released a photo of a person suspected in the deadly shooting of a high school student.

CHICAGO — Police have released a photo of a suspect after a Northside College Prep student was murdered Monday night. The student was shot to death in Old Irving Park at about 5:35 p.m., police said.

Emanuel Gallegos, 17, was a passenger in a westbound car in the 4400 block of West Addison Street, when police said someone fired at him from a street corner.

The teen was shot in the neck and taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where he later died.

Police said the suspect has the first name of "Luis" but also goes by "CK" and "Goonie."

The teen is 5 feet 5 inches to 5 feet eight inches tall, weighs 120–140 pounds and has brown hair, police said. He's known to frequent the area of Lockwood and Altgeld.
