Police Warn Of Uptown Burglaries
Police issued a community alert for North Side residents.
CHICAGO — Police are warning residents in the 20th District to be vigilant after burglaries were reported in Uptown. Police said the burglars targeted two homes on the same block.
The burglars gained access to the homes through unlocked doors, police said. Once inside, they stole property.
The first burglary occurred in the 1300 block of W. Argyle St. between January 18 and 21, police said.

The second home was robbed on the same block on Jan. 28 at about 1 p.m.
