Popular Filipino Fast Food Chain, Jollibee, Chooses North Side for First Chicago Spot

Eager eaters recently lined up outside of a Filipino fast food chain that has opened its first Chicago location on the city's Northwest Side.
Jollibee, which planted its first Midwest eatery in Skokie this past summer, is officially open inside Seafood City at 5033 N. Elston Ave. Its first day in business was Dec. 22.

"The Skokie restaurant ... has exceeded the company’s expectations, making it one of the highest grossing stores in the country," Eater reported.
The global chain has thousands of locations. Menu items include several types of fried chicken, burgers and popular noodle dishes such as "Palabok Fiesta."
