Redefine Lake Shore Drive Meeting To Be Held In Uptown

Community members will have an opportunity to give their feedback this week on Lake Shore Drive improvements.

CHICAGO — As part of a study to improve North Lake Shore Drive, The Illinois Department of Transportation and the Chicago Department of Transportation will seek feedback from the public in another meeting on Thursday, Jan. 24, Ald. James Cappleman announced. The agencies will use the feedback to shape their designs.

The meeting will include a discussion on protecting the Wilson exit and entrance ramps onto Lake Shore Drive.

The meeting will held at 6 p.m. in Truman College's McKeon lobby, 1145 W. Wilson.

More than 40 community members attended a Redefine Lake Shore Drive meeting in October. IDOT and CDOT accepted 10 comment forms.
The meetings are focused on the Montrose-Wilson-Lawrence Avenue Corridor.
