Burglaries Reported In Budlong Woods, Peterson Park
Police have issued a community alert for North Side residents.

CHICAGO — Burglars have been breaking into homes in the Budlong Woods and Peterson Park neighborhoods, police said in a community alert Wednesday. At least six burglaries occurred within a few blocks of each other between Dec. 11 and Dec. 24, police said.
In each burglary, either a door or a window was forced open, and property was stolen, according to the alert.

• in the 2800 block of W. Gregory St. on Dec. 11 at 6:18 p.m.
• in the 2900 block of W. Bryn Mawr Ave. on Dec. 11 between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m.
• in the 5700 block of W. Mozart St. on Dec. 14 between 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
• in the 5700 block of N. Sacramento Ave. on Dec. 16 at 9:30 a.m.
• in the 2600 block of W. Catalpa Ave. on Dec. 21 at 5 p.m.
• in the 2600 block of W. Berwyn Ave. on Dec. 24 between 1:45 p.m. and 10:15 p.m.
