Sears in Lincoln Square Will Close This Year

The location on Lawrence Ave. was one of the first stores built by the 20th century retail giant.

CHICAGO, IL - The Sears store at 1900 W. Lawrence Ave. in Lincoln Square will be one of several locations closing in August, the company has announced.

It was one of the first stores built by the Chicago-based Sears, Roebuck & Co. in the 1920’s, according to DNAinfo Chicago.
