Uptown's Annual Walk On Wilson: Schedule, Activities
The event will feature live music in local shops, selfies with Santa and a holiday pop-up market.

CHICAGO — The 5th Annual Winter Walk on Wilson will be held on Friday, Nov. 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Uptown. The free event will include live music along the Wilson commercial corridor, from Clark to Sheridan.
This year's event will also feature a Holiday Pop-Up Market in the Gerber Building, 4620 N. Broadway.
Families are also encouraged to come out and take photos with Santa — RSVP here.

From 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Kreyol Roots, The Peoples Music School, Old Town School of Folk Music, Coffee Jazz Collective, Side by Side and other groups will be playing live music in more than a dozen local businesses:
- Hence Interiors
- The Mukase African Restaurant
- Heritage Outpost
- The Public Barber
- Kal'ish
- Longacre
- First Sip Cafe at Aardvark Insurance Agency
- Pokiology
- Haitian American Museum of Chicago
- Chicago Market
- Tesfa Ethiopian
- Uptown Church
- Everbyody's Coffee
Then at 7:30 p.m., the Uptown Holiday Revue will be held inside the Chicago Market at the corner of Wilson and Broadway. The show will feature performances by Black Ensemble Theater, Pride Films and Plays, Barrel of Monkeys, and Inspired Youth Singers (students from Uptown’s own Goudy, McCutcheon, and Disney elementary schools).

An after party will be held at 8 p.m. at Nick's On Wilson, 1140 W. Wilson, with holiday drink specials.
