Welles Park Gazebo Concert Series Begins: Summer Schedule
Lincoln Square's favorite gazebo will host Irish dancers, jazz musicians, wind ensembles and many more talented artists this summer.

CHICAGO, IL — Every Tuesday evening throughout the summer, musicians and performers will entertain audiences at the gazebo in Welles Park. The free performances will begin at 6:30 p.m., rain or shine, organizers said. The first show will be held Tuesday, June 26.
If it starts to rain, the concert will be held in the gymnasium at Welles Park, organizers said.
The free series is organized by the Chicago Park District and Welles Park Advisory Council.

Here is the summer schedule:
- June 26: Brazilian Jazz with Luciano Antonio
- July 3: Sean Cleland & Friends - Chicago Irish Dance Fun
- July 10: Ramblin' Rose and the 290 East Ramblers - R&B and Blues
- July 17: The Imperial Sound - Swinging Pop
- July 24: Family Concert with the Dreamtree Shakers - Children's Concert
- July 31: Someone Old, Someone New - Original Pop
- Aug. 7: Merit Wind Ensemble - Summer Wind Ensemble
- Aug. 14: Old Town School ensembles - Rockabilly and Modern Country
- Aug. 21: Wendy and DB - Children's Concert
- Aug. 28: School of Rock - Rock
