Burlington Avenue And River Drive Water Main Project To Begin March 8

On Monday, March 8th, Village contractors will begin a water main replacement project on River Drive, from Ogden Avenue to the northern dead end, and on Burlington Avenue, from Route 53 to the east branch of the DuPage River. These water mains have reached the end of their useful life and require replacement as part of the Village’s commitment to properly maintaining its capital infrastructure.

During the duration of the project, these areas will experience lane closures and construction traffic. Once the new water main is installed, individual water services will be transferred to the new main.
