Cider And Ale Festival Brings Seasonal Brews To Morton Arboretum
The festival will feature drinks from local breweries, food vendors, and live music.
LISLE, IL — October brings with it chilly weather, changing leaves, and plenty of excuses to sip on your favorite seasonal beers. On Oct. 29, the Morton Arboretum's Cider and Ale Festival will feature autumnal ales and other drinks from some 50 breweries located throughout the area.
Participating breweries and cideries include 2 Towns CiderHouse, Blue Nose Brewery, Cider Boys, City Lights Brewing Company, E.Z. Orchards, Forbidden Root Brewing Company, Goose Island Brewing Company, Illuminated Brew Works, Lagunitas Brewing Company, Magner's Cider, Noon Whistle Brewing Company, Otto's Cider, Short Fuse Brewing, Virtue Cider, Whiner Brewing Company, and more.
Visitors can sample eclectic blends that include caramel apple ciders, pineapple ciders, rhubarb ciders, guava-infused ales, IPAs, mango meads, and other inventive brews.

When you're not sipping on a drink, you can fill up with food from one of the many food vendors onsite. The selection of food vendors includes:
- Gingko Grill and Pretzel Necklaces
- Gnarly Knotts
- Grumpy Gaucho
- Katie O's Food Carnival
- Roaming Hog
- Sabor Mexican Grill
Live music will be played by local band 1976 throughout the event.
