Community Recognition Program Award Winners Announced At State Of The Village

This year, many worthy nominations were submitted for Lisle’s Community Recognition Award Program. From Lisle’s business community, Midwest Auto Body of Lisle was selected for their outstanding efforts in giving back to the Lisle community. Under the leadership of Amish Patel, General Manager of Midwest Auto Body of Lisle, the business has developed programs that support local businesses and students. This includes providing customers with a $25 gift card to a Lisle small business when spending over $500 on auto body repairs and the Dents and Dings for Education Program, which donates all proceeds for minor auto repairs of $100 or less to the Lisle Education Foundation.

Two nominations received in the individuals category recognized individuals that, rather than receiving public acknowledgement, instead preferred that Mayor Pecak encourage volunteerism and contribute to the Lisle community. Congratulations to Midwest Auto Body of Lisle on winning the award and a sincere thank you to all those that contribute to making Lisle the community that it is!
