Cooling Centers Open In Lisle As Heat Wave Continues

LISLE, IL — As temperatures soar into the 90s and humidity increases, Lisle has opened its cooling centers for residents in need. The village has three cooling centers with different availabilities for each.

The Lisle cooling centers and available times are as follows:

• Lisle Library District, 777 Front St. (open to public as of July 6)
• Lisle Police Department Lobby, 5040 Lincoln Ave. (open 24 hours)
• Lisle Township Building, 4711 Indiana Ave. (call 630-968-2087 for availability)

For those who visit a cooling center, face masks are required at all times.
