COVID-19 Vaccine Center Now Open At Benedictine University
Thousands of DuPage County residents have been vaccinated at Benedictine University since its vaccination center opened in mid-March.

LISLE, IL — Those who live and work in DuPage County can now get their coronavirus vaccines at Benedictine University in Lisle. Benedictine recently partnered with Metro Infectious Disease Consultants (MIDC) to open a vaccination clinic in the university's Goodwin Hall.
The university's vaccination clinic has been administering doses of the Pfizer vaccine to around 600 to 750 people a day since opening in mid-March, Nick Van Hise, MIDC's Director of Clinical Research told Patch. The goal is to ultimately ramp up to administering 1,000 doses a day, Van Hise added.
Patricia Ariano, of Benedictine's COVID Recovery Team, told Patch the university's vaccination clinic is "very easily accessible." Accessible parking is available near the entrance of Goodwin Hall and volunteers are on hand to help people get into and out of the building.
