DuPage Unity in Diversity Memorial​ Scheduled in Lisle

Lisle, IL — A solidarity event will take place July 16 at Benedictine University "to remember the unfortunate loss of lives of the Dallas police officers and minority civilians."

The DuPage Unity in Diversity Memorial is sponsored by the Islamic Center of Naperville, Benedictine University, DuPage County Chiefs of Police Association, and the Center For Civic Leadership.

The event will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Goodwin Hall, 5700 College Road in Lisle.

"The purpose of the event is to foster better understanding between minority groups and law enforcement to build a stronger, safer and just community," according to the event on Facebook.
