Fireworks Near Me: Lisle's 4th Of July 2020

LISLE, IL — July 4 is quickly approaching, which means it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you this Independence Day. We gathered up all the fireworks shows, parades and festivals happening in and around Lisle so you can start planning now. The holiday may be celebrated differently this year, so be sure to check Lisle's guidance regarding the use of masks and social distancing before attending.

Here's what's in store this July 4 in Lisle:

What: Lisle 4th of July Parade

When: 10 a.m.

Where: Starts at Kennedy Junior High School and then heads north through the village, ending along Warrenville Road

Lisle Trustee Marie Hasse told Patch via email, "Lisle’s 4th of July celebrations will be different this year with no Eyes to the Skies festival and carnival. However, to still celebrate the occasion safely, there will be a convoy of vehicles with representatives from the Village of Lisle, Lisle-Woodridge Fire District, Lisle Township, Lisle VFW Ross Bishop Post 5696, Lisle Rotary Club, Lisle Park District, Lisle School District #202, Lisle Heritage Society, Lisle Kiwanis Club and the Lisle Chamber of Commerce. The convoy will kick off at Kennedy Junior High School at 10 am and make it’s way north through the village, finishing along Warrenville Road, near the Sheraton. We hope to see lots of residents waving and showing small town spirit during this event."

Lisle has not decided yet whether it will host a fireworks celebration, but more details are expected as the holiday draws closer.
