'Illumination' Transforms Morton Arboretum Into Winter Wonderland
Morton Arboretum's trees come to life with brilliant interactive lights, holiday music, and more.
LISLE, IL — Morton Arboretum's Illumination has transformed the park into a sparkling winter wonderland. The event, which runs through Jan. 5, features an interactive light show and holiday music that stretch a mile through the arboretum.
The 2019 Illumination display makes its way down a paved path that is more spacious, according to Morton Arboretum. This year's Illumination will also spotlight a new feature called Tree Fascination. The Tree Fascination display lights up a grove of Eastern white and Scots pine trees with a "digital projection of immersive color and pattern," according to the Morton Arboretum website.
When you're done checking out the lights, you can cozy up with a hot chocolate by a bonfire on the Morton Arboretum grounds.
