Final Chance To See Troll Hunt At Morton Arboretum: Report
The oversized trolls that loom over Morton Arboretum will dematerialize after Jan. 31.

LISLE, IL — The giant wooden trolls that have loomed over Lisle's Morton Arboretum for over two years are on their way out. The popular "Troll Hunt" exhibit will close Jan. 31, according to Chicago Tribune.
The troll exhibit, which will officially come down throughout February, will end to accommodate another exhibit set to open in the spring.
The popular trolls have brought in hundreds of thousands of visitors to Morton Arboretum. One frequent visitor, Delilah Durbin, started a petition on change.org to relocate the Morton Arboretum trolls. As of Friday, the petition had more than 1,160 signatures.

Despite the outpouring of love for the troll exhibit, things don't look promising for the future of the sculptures. Chicago Tribune reports that Morton Arboretum public relations chief Tari Marshall wrote in the petition's comments, "Due to the significant cost, labor, logistics, and maintenance required to safely move and install the sizable sculptures, they will not be relocated."
