LISLE, IL — New details have emerged that may help police find a motive in the case of a shooting that claimed the life of retired State Trooper Greg Rieves, 51, and injured two other state troopers Friday at Humidor cigar lounge in Lisle. Police say the shooter, identified as Lisa V. McMullan, 51, who also took her own life, had written the victim's name on the wall of her condominium, along with a chilling message.
In addition to this new information, Lisle police have released audio from the emergency 911 call that took place in the aftermath of Saturday night's shooting.
Police say they found victim Greg Rieves' name scrawled on the wall of McMullan's condo, along with the name of another man. Written alongside the names were the words, "I hate you … hope you two die!"
