Lisle Eyes To The Skies Called Off For 2nd Year Straight

Festival organizers hope to bring Eyes to the Skies back in 2022.

LISLE, IL — When the 2020 Lisle Eyes to the Skies Festival was canceled due to coronavirus, festival organizers had hoped to resume the event in 2021. Now, the 2021 Eyes to the Skies festival has also been canceled amid continuing concerns about the ongoing pandemic.

Event organizers announced the cancellation via a statement on the Eyes to the Skies Festival website April 9. The statement read, in part, "Although we have made great strides over the past few months in containing and reducing the spread, it is with great sadness that we are announcing that the 2021 Eyes to the Skies Festival and Carnival will not be held this year either."

The statement went on to say that the festival planners are aiming to return in 2022 with a "redesigned Lisle community event."
