Lisle Police Arrest 5 For Car Burglaries

LISLE, IL — Five people are in custody after a police pursuit that followed a series of car burglaries and thefts early Sunday. Police say the crimes took place "in the area off of Ogden and west of Yackley."

Around 3 a.m., police spotted the stolen car near the area of the burglaries and pursued the suspects. The car crashed near I-88 on Route 53 and police took five suspects into custody.

Police are asking anyone who was the victim of a car burglary or has any information to call the Lisle Police Department at 630-271-4200. Police are also encouraging residents to keep their cars locked and to keep keys and valuables out of sight.
