Lisle Police Find Guns, Pills After DUI Stop: Cops

LISLE, IL — A Lisle man faces multiple charges after police say he was caught with two illegal guns and pills following a DUI traffic stop early Thursday. Kevin Williams, 31, of the 4400 block of Blackhawk Lane, was charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition without a Firearm Owners Identification card (FOID), DUI, illegal transportation of liquor, driving on a suspended license and disobeying a stop sign in connection with the incident.
Police say Williams ran a stop sign while driving south on Beau Bien Boulevard near Ogden Avenue. Police pulled Williams over and arrested him for driving under the influence.
According to police, they got information that led them to get a search warrant for Williams's apartment. During the search, police say they found a .45-caliber Glock 38 gun and a Master Piece Arms 9 mm gun, in addition to "multiple pills."

The pills have been forwarded to a crime lab for confirmation, according to police.
