Lisle Residents May Notice Slight Increase On Water Bills
Residents will see the rate increase on the bills they receive in August.

LISLE, IL -- Residents in Lisle may notice a slight increase in their water bills soon. The rate increase of 3 cents per 1000 gallons, which begins in June 2019, comes after a rate increase from the DuPage Water Commission and the City of Chicago, village officials said in a Facebook post.
The new cost will be $6.63 per 1000 gallons. This totals out to about $.48 more each bi-monthly billing cycle for households that use the average of 8,000 gallons of water, according to village officials.
Residents should see the new rate on the water bills they receive in August and commercial customers should see the rate increase on the bills they get in July.
