Lisle Residents Recycle 95 Cubic Yards Of Live Christmas Trees
Trees were collected curbside and brought to the Morton Arboretum where they were processed into mulch for landscaping.
This year, a total of 95 cubic yards of non-artificial Christmas trees were collected and recycled! Through the Village’s partnership with @LakeshoreRecyclingSystems and the @MortonArboretum, the trees were collected curbside and brought to the Morton Arboretum.
The trees were then processed into mulch for landscaping throughout the Arboretum grounds. This excellent reuse of trees is made possible through these valuable partnerships that help best serve the community. Thanks to all those that participated in this year’s recycling program!
