Lisle Sees Dip In New Weekly Coronavirus Cases

Since March 2020, Lisle has seen 1,828 coronavirus cases, according to DuPage County Health Department.

LISLE, IL — Lisle has seen 32 new coronavirus cases in the past six days, reflecting an increase of 1.8 percent, according to information from DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). These numbers are less than those of the previous week, which saw 45 new coronavirus cases in Lisle.

As of April 13, Lisle had reported 1,796 total cases of the new coronavirus. Those numbers had increased to 1,828 as of April 20.

DCHD recently began sharing the number of probable coronavirus cases in each municipality. Whereas the graph on DCHD's website includes probable cases, using the site's search bar yields a breakdown of probable and confirmed cases.

In Lisle, there have been 172 probable coronavirus cases since March 2020, according to county health records. With probable cases included, the total case count for Lisle is 2,000.

Lisle saw no additional coronavirus deaths in the past week. To date, there have been a total of 31 confirmed coronavirus-related deaths and two probable coronavirus deaths in the village, DCHD reports.

The number of coronavirus cases in nearby Naperville increased by 147 cases in the past week in DuPage County, according to information from the DuPage County Health Department (DCHD). This is notably less than the previous week, which saw 204 new coronavirus cases in Naperville.

As of April 13, there had been 7,040 coronavirus cases reported in the DuPage County portion of Naperville. The total number of cases reported in Naperville as of April 20 was 7,187 per DCHD.

In Naperville, there have been 1,041 probable coronavirus cases since March 2020. Including probable cases, the total coronavirus case count for Naperville is at 8,228.
