Lisle's Next Electronics Recycling Set For July 20

Residents can drop off their unwanted electronics items to be recycled on July 20.

LISLE, IL — Lisle residents who are looking to unload some of their old electronics equipment can head to the village's upcoming monthly electronics recycling event on July 20. The event will be held in the Commuter Parking Lot on Burlington Avenue from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Here's a list of some of the items residents can bring to the electronics recycling event:

  • Music players
  • Video game consoles
  • Blu-ray and DVD players
  • Fax machines
  • Laptops
  • Stereos
  • Typewriters
  • Cables and cable boxes
  • Holiday lights

Some items, including flat screen TVs, projection TVs, and CRTs can be dropped off for a fee of $25 or $35, depending on the size of the item. Appliances will not be accepted for recycling.

Some residents who use Lakeshore Recycling Systems can also set select electronic waste items curbside for collection on the first Wednesday of each month.
