Man Charged With Threatening DuPage County Board Chairman
Police say Broc Montgomery, 49, of Chicago, said, "Tell Dan Cronin that little (expletive) I am coming. I am coming for him."

DUPAGE COUNTY, IL — A Chicago man faces felony charges after police say he left threatening voice messages for DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin. Broc Montgomery, 49, was charged with three counts of threatening a public official in connection with the incidents.
According to police, on May 2 and 3, Montgomery left three messages for Cronin on a County Board Member's personal phone. The messages said, according to police, “Tell Dan Cronin that little (expletive) I am coming. I am coming for him,” “I have enough people out on the streets who are going to take care of him,” “Somebody better get on this (expletive) or I’m going to take him out myself” and “I’m gonna come get him and I’ll take his whole (expletive) everything out from him that he loves.”
Police say that during the course of the investigation they learned that there was no professional or personal relationship between Montgomery and Cronin.
