Naperville Man, 55, Killed In Motorcycle Crash In Lisle

LISLE, IL — A 55-year-old Naperville man is dead following a crash between a motorcycle and a car that took place Wednesday night in Lisle.

Police got to the scene at Maple Avenue and Spring Bay Drive around 8:15 p.m. Police say the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not thought to be life-threatening.

Members of the Lisle Police Department were helped by the DuPage MERIT Major Crash Reconstruction Team in their investigation. Preliminary findings indicate the motorcycle was heading westbound on Maple Avenue when it crashed into the car, which was turning onto Maple Avenue from Spring Bay Drive, according to police.
