New Lisle Grade School On The Way After Clearing County Hurdle
DuPage County officials have approved plans for a $39 million elementary school at the former Meadows site.

LISLE, IL - A new school will be on the way soon in Lisle Community Unit School District 202. Officials in DuPage County recently gave the nod to the district to build a 100,000-square-foot facility at the former Meadows school site on Westview Lane, according to a report from the Daily Herald. The new school will be for kindergarten through fifth grade students and replace the aging Tate Woods and Schiescher structures.
The $39 million project will include a two-story building larger than the one that was at the site and serve up to 770 students. Construction on the project could begin next summer.
