Ogden Avenue Resurfacing Begins; Expect Lane Closures
Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction as crews resurface the street.

LISLE, IL -- Commuters who use Ogden Avenue can expect traffic delays as crews begin a lengthy project to resurface the street through Lisle, Downers Grove, and Westmont. Officials say the roadwork will reduce traffic to one lane in either direction from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Ogden Avenue resurfacing project will stretch from Ivanhoe Avenue in Lisle to North Washington Street in Westmont. Businesses will remain open during the construction and normal traffic will resume at the end of each day, according to a news release from the Illinois Department of Transportation.
Drivers are advised to obey flaggers and road signs that will be posted near the resurfacing sites. Motorists are also encouraged to leave early and allow extra time if traveling on Ogden Avenue.
