Street Racing, Weapon Use: Police Blotter
Here is an item from the Village of Lisle Police Department blotter on May 1.
Jesse Zuniga, 33, of the 7700 block of Larchwood Lane, Woodridge, was charged on May 1 with misdemeanor unlawful use of a weapon and cited for street racing and speeding.
Zuniga was arrested at 1 a.m. as a result of a traffic stop by a Lisle police officer. The officer observed a vehicle driven by Zuniga traveling more than 40 miles per hour above the posted speed limit while racing another vehicle, according to a report. He was released on bond to await a court hearing.
