Suspect In Fatal Lombard Hit-And-Run Still Sought: Cops

Police are still looking for the driver of a white Ford F-250, who is suspected of fatally hitting a 59-year-old Glen Ellyn man.

LOMBARD, IL — The DuPage County Sheriff's Office is offering more information in the hopes of finding the suspect of a deadly hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a 59-year-old Glen Ellyn man. It is believed that a white male in his 40s or 50s was driving the white Ford F-250 that hit and killed Robert J. Szabo of the 800 block of Woodlawn Drive on Aug. 30.

Szabo was walking near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Addison Avenue shortly after midnight when he was hit by a white Ford F-250 with yellow exterior lights on he roof of the cab. The driver fled east on Roosevelt.

Police provided this closeup photo of the truck's driver in the hopes that someone can identify him.
